Maybe it won’t be a perfect piece but it is your creation. This memorable feeling and your mug will accompany you for a lifetime.

About the handbuilding workshops
One workshop includes two occasions on two different days. One occasion lasts 2.5 hours.
On the first occasion, I will guide you through the ‘pinching’ process of making your objects, including showing you some ideas for texturing your clay and sharing some useful tips and tricks. ‘Pinching’ is one of the oldest ways to create ceramics. This method allows beginners to learn the first steps to work with clay and provide experimental possibilities for those ones who already have experience with pottery.

After the first session, you are ready with your pieces and leave them in the studio to dry for at least one week and I will fire them.
On the second occasion, we glaze the objects. I will show different glazing techniques and you can try to decorate for example with different patterns.
After the workshop, the objects will be fired again and we make an appointment to collect your pieces at the studio.
During the workshop, there is a possibility to enjoy your coffee or tea on the roof terrace surrounded by birds chirping.
What can we create during the workshop? There are many possibilities. For example: mugs, smaller vases/ plates/ planters/ sculptures/bowls, different holders like jewelry/soap/phone/ etc.
Number of participants: small group (min. 4-max. 6 members)
Language: There are workshops in English and in Hungarian. No high level is required, I show everything step by step.
Age: 14+ (There will be dedicated workshops in the future for kids between 8-14 years old and also for families.)
What's included in the price? 2 occasions on two different days (2x 2.5 hours). Price includes all of the materials, (clay and glazes) and the cost of the 2 firings. We serve both times tea, coffee, and cookies.

Cancellation Policy: Full refund if you notify us 7 days before class begins. No refund or transfer if you give no notice.

Workshop after the corona?: Let’s create safely and free! I keep the group size very small, the maximum number of participants: 4-6
The studio is kept clean. Door handles, light switches, and the bathroom are disinfected before and after the sessions.
We ask everyone to wash their hands when they arrive at the studio and hand sanitizer is also provided.
If you don’t feel well, have a fever or cough please stay home, we can arrange a new occasion.
